I am the founder and project manager of The Free Projects, a nonprofit organization working in pinpointed development projects in northern Ghana, West Africa.
In addition to my social entrepreneurship I am a Digital Media Creative graduate from Hyper Island in Stockholm, a school that is said to nurture the tomorrow of the digital industry, hosting creatives who are drilled to disrupt and invent.
Working as Head of Creative in the startup-world of Stockholm I'm taking on brief after brief from clients wanting new bold ideas, technological solutions and digitalized shortcuts. However, ideas, creativity and success doesn’t come through a screen, it comes from inside of you.
The discrepancy between theoretical teachings in leadership, communication and action plans and the reality of actually walking the talk is limiting our creativity. But most of all - it's not keeping up with the changing market.
is a non-profit organization, founded in 2012. Since the start we have conducted several projects such as building a Junior High School, drilled for clean water and installing solar panels for light and a computer room.
Breaking in on the market as a 22 year old girl without experience, education or finances I met a lot of resistance. Therefore I made it a mission of mine to always prove that we have options and there are solutions where there seem to be none.
What brought me on this path was not getting my hands in to the soil and building actual structures as many might think. It was the possibility create positive change by moving people. I understood that by leading with vision, inspire creativity and nurture possibilities we can actually make a difference.
In the trajectory of The Free Projects I now help others to go from thought to action. I help individuals, teams or organizations to make an impact in effective and disruptive manners.
